About Mossman Photography

Hi, I'm Phil. I'm an equestrian photographer based in Devon, with a particular love for capturing the partnership between horse and rider in competition.

When I'm not ringside at events, you'll find me shooting street and travel photography — I spent time in Japan and came back with a collection I'm still proud of. Photography is how I see the world more clearly, whether that's the split-second suspension of a cross-country fence or a quiet backstreet in Kyoto.

I live on a small equestrian yard in Dunkeswell with my family and four horses, which means I understand the equestrian world from the inside. That matters — knowing when the moment's about to happen is half the job.
